An interesting beer house and restaurant in Böttcherstrasse. Unfortunately it was rainy and couldn't sit outdoors but the interior was really intriguing with all the old photos on the walls. Surely even more interesting for someone who's closer to history. Totally satisfied with the beer range but I would expect the food to be of higher standards given the prices and the venue. However, was extremely crowded when I visited and I could only see 3 waitresses running around so it could have just been a busy day. We didn't have an unreasonably long waiting time despite how busy it was.

A must visit place for tourists. Prehistoric buildings that are so well preserved. History is where we begin. There is also a small Museum and a cafe. Lots of visitors on weekends. A hotspot for tourists and locals to meet each other.

Great place for beers. As far as I know it's the only place in Bremen where you can get Kölsch on tap. The food is nothing special and unfortunately they are often understaffed and the waiting staff or not very friendly.
If you want good service, sit at the bar.

Nice place, fresh and tasty food, super friendly service!
Been there in the pumpkin season, so we had the pumpkin soup (Kürbissuppe) and pumpkin pizza (Kürbisflammkuchen) and both were delicious and fresh, we had also Kölsch for drink, was very refreshing.
The design of the restaurant is very interesting, tells you a lot about the history of this place.
I think it is a bit touristic but worth visiting.

Interesting pub lots of nice old photos of famous people including the Queen the pub is located next to the bells it’s played tunes every so often

Lack of professionalism. I could not pay my cappuccino with my bank card, which is (apparently) acceptable since it was a small amount. But then, they could have been more helpful in providing information about the nearest ATM, or at least inform the client beforehand that payment under € 10 cannot be realised with a Visa/Mastercard. Those who are not living in Germany/Bremen are not familiar with that «fact». The staff was very unfriendly, and it was a very unpleasant experience. Luckily I found a ATM close by. I will definitely not come again.

Neat interior. Good location. Food arrived promptly but was just okay. The place was understaffed. Our waitress was very unfriendly. A guest in our party required gluten free food - we were told this was not supported by the restaurant - any inquiries were grudgingly checked in the kitchen. The reaction at my request for a little extra sauce for my meal was an eye roll.
