The prices are steep, but I'm willing to pay more for very good quality. So I ordered fish for sushi, tuna fillet and salmon stoppings.
The deadline delivery went well and the packaging was also perfect. However, I was shocked when I saw the salmon on January 7th, 2019 !!! has been frozen and should be kept until 07/22. That may well be. But of course the “taste” was correspondingly towards “0”. In general, it is recommended to freeze fish for a maximum of 2 - 5 months, as the taste will then suffer. Everyone can imagine how the fish tasted after almost 2 years in the frost! In addition, it was cut way too thin as a topping for nigiris.
When I cooked the tuna for lunch, I spent the entire afternoon on the toilet shortly afterwards and had diarrhea and an unlikely stomach ache. Fortunately, my husband had eaten something different as he doesn't eat tuna, so we can clearly say it could only be from the fish dish. Nothing like that has happened to me before.
So for me it was a total letdown and I will definitely not order here again!

Lachskontor – Frischfischversand. Klang für mich zunächst überzeugend und auch die Präsentation und der Service auf der Internetseite lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Preise sind happig, aber für sehr gute Qualität bin ich bereit, mehr zu bezahlen. Ich habe also Fisch für Sushi bestellt, Thunfischfilet und Lachstoppings.
Die Terminlieferung klappte gut und auch die Verpackung war einwandfrei. Geschockt war ich allerdings, als ich gesehen habe, dass der Lachs am 07.01.2019 !!! eingefrostet wurde und bis 07/22 haltbar sein soll. Das mag wohl sein. Aber der „Geschmack“ ging natürlich entsprechend gegen „0“. Allgemein wird empfohlen, Fisch maximal 2 – 5 Monate einzufrosten, da dann der Geschmack leidet. Jeder kann sich sicher vorstellen, wie der Fisch nach knapp 2 Jahren im Frost geschmeckt hat! Außerdem war er als Topping für Nigiris viel zu dünn geschnitten.
Als ich mir den Thunfisch mittags zubereitet habe, war ich kurz danach den kompletten Nachmittag auf dem Klo und hatte Durchfall und unwahrscheinliche Magenschmerzen. Mein Mann hatte zum Glück etwas anderes gegessen, da er keinen Thunfisch isst, so dass wir ganz klar sagen können, es konnte nur vom Fischgericht sein. So etwas ist mir auch noch nicht passiert.
Für mich war das also ein totaler Reinfall und hier werde ich sicher nicht wieder bestellen!
