Wonderful museum filled with Bremen history and art. Well maintained. Will take you about 2-3 hours if you like reading. No English plaques, but i think most would find it worth their time if visiting.

Comprehensive collection covering Bremen's history and achievements. You can spend there easily few hours wandering around admiring the variety of exhibitions. Though as the exhibitions are not so much interactive - you feel the length of your visit after some time and you might feel tired. Luckily - there's a cafe that will help you recover.

The museum is a great way to spend a few hours if you’re visiting the city. It’s a short tram ride from the old town and puts you in range of the botanika and shops near Horn.

Many of the exhibits have English translations and they have tablets which speak out the stories of what you are seeing, with informational videos and pictures to expand on them. They said they were aiming to translate more into English however, even if you can’t read German well the historic items are worth a look anyway.
