We have a group of Mechanical Engineer student from HAMK (Finland) planning to go visit Airbus Defence u0026 Space Center in Bremen (Germany) on a school trip.
Couple days before the trip, we received information from Airbus Defence u0026 Space Center saying that Russian and Vietnamese students are not allowed to participate in the tour in Airbus Defence u0026 Space Center as we planed months ago.
We were all really speechless, shocked and devastating because many of us as engineer, were really looking forward to this visit and as student, we also paid quite an amount of money for this trip by our own (flight tickets) and skip 1 week from school.
It's 2017, and this kind of act still happens from such a huge corporation, while we are trying to unite and fight against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.
We are looking forward to suitable explanation from Airbus Defence u0026 Space Center.

In response of my previous comment above, there was something awesome happened to us on the trip to Bremen.
Upon our arrival to Bremen, we tried to find other plan to fill up a gap of our travel due to acknowledgement of not being able to attend Airbus Defence u0026 Space Center. We were quite struggle with planning as a group in very short amount of time.
However, in the early morning of the day we suppose to visit Airbus Defense u0026 Space. We all received such a great news that we were all able to visit the center. There wasn't any word to describe our feeling back there. There were just a tiny issue that we were up pretty late the night before because we thought we would had a free day. I guess excitement of the trip helped us to pull ourselves together as we all managed to get ready for the trip just fine and on time.
When we got into the center and started our tour, there were a gentleman, represent Airbus to explain to us about this whole confusion that we had beforehand. I was quite surprised about what was happening so I couldn't pay attention at first couple of second of the explanation. As I understood right, Airbus has policies and protocols which are also related to other organisations such as ESA or security parties so it wasn't up to them to make decision at first place. However, Airbus had been working to solve problems right when they received information about this agenda, to give us access to the tour. That was amazing!!!
As engineer students, it was phenomenal feeling and experience that we had during the trip. Besides, that gentleman even followed us during the whole trip, answered many of our questions, enlightened us with knowledge and inspired us with his vision. I think we were a bit luckier than other groups because of "extra" knowledge.
Overall, our trip were so amazing, fulfilled our desire of science and inspired us to keep studying u0026 exploring new things. It also had a massive impact to our vision, thoughts and actions toward our studying at school and most important of all, help us to set a goal for ourselves in the future. I'd really like to revisit and learn more about this area again when i have chance. My deeply appreciation to people that made this happened and especial that gentleman that I totally forgot to ask his name. I'd be grateful to be able to in touch with that gentleman again.

I hope i dont have to come back here again. I drive trucks and the way we are treated here... than there is no toalet in wateing area , no parkings for disabled people and limited access. Crapy place.

We had a really good tour into some parts of the factory here. Book it through the tourist office in Bremen.
