We went on a fine summer day. Rooms don't have AC and so it was quite warm. Opened the windows and it took long time for the room to cool. Maybe a small fan could help too. Maybe they could open the windows before the room is occupied. Loved the hotel, its quirkyness, location. Will visit again

Stayed in the Red Riding Hood treehouse room for our honeymoon and it was delightful! The view was lovely and the upper floor accessible via a ladder was cool. The decor in the main hotel is a cool mix of pop art and fantasy/traditional. The service was very accommodating and our breakfast was delicious! I'd highly recommend it for any couple looking for a hotel with a unique vibe.

Not what I expected. The room was barely warm, the heater was super tiny and had to turn on some fans from a panel that was falling off its double sided tape. Cables coming off the bed from under, perfect for a "dog friendly hotel" where we were bringing a puppy to. Receptionist giving us attitude while checking in because "the room was under the wrong name". Room had single sheet while we were 2; probably because we wanted a room on the ground floor as we put in the booking comments, but that was not read?

Hotel felt cheap overall, would not recommend. At best a 2 star experience.

Amazing, as always! We upgraded to the master suite for the 1st night and the next morning we found out that all of their Baum Haus (tree house) suites were available! My husband picked the Rostlaube Baum Haus, which had an amazing view of the trees and wilderness! We loved every second of it! Breakfast was great as well! Very cool boutique hotel with fun art and decor ❤

Beautiful and quiet setting! A lovely place surrounded by trees. Small but well designed and clean rooms with some useful gadgets. The view from bed into the woods is priceless and a perfect start for the day! Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Good size room with a terrace, excellent modern amenities, very clean, exceptionally comfortable bed, pillows and duvet, great breakfast, friendly multilingual staff, very good Internet connection, free minibar, great selection of bar food.

Sadly, i was unable to stay at this hotel this time around; the organizers of my meetings at the World Conference Center on the other side of town alerted me on the very day of my arrival that they needed for us to meet this evening and early tomorrow morning before formal sessions. With a sigh I booked the (predictable and also excellent but oh, so different) Marriott conference hotel, as i was concerned my jet lag might make me late to these meetings in the morning. True to form V-hotel provided excellent service, responding quickly to my request for a no fee cancellation with a most generous acquiescence. Next time, lovely V!
