It's a nice small hostel close to the city centre. The rooms are quite large with a bathroom in every room.
Nice beds and a bed lamp by every bed.
The only communal area is by the reception which closes at 20:00.

Alexandra (one of the owners) turned out to be one of the most caring people I've met in Germany. From the fact that she uses the hostel for charity efforts with the Ahr valley floods, to helping with people stranded from COVID lockdowns. She went pretty far out of her way to meet me before I headed out and it was much appreciated.

I had an excellent time meeting people here and would recommend this hostel on the community!

Outside of this, location is close to the Rhein and to the city center so it's rather convenient.

Really lovely and accommodating host, with neat and clean facilities in the cosy space. Bathroom was very clean. Quiet at night and convenient location. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean rooms and really friendly staff. Very good connection to public transportation and city center is in walking distance.

The bathroom and restroom for single rooms is shared and no towels are provided. There is no elevator, only stairs.

Super friendly and accommodating, the staff in this hostel can't be more lovely. A great central location and wonderful people make this place wonderful. The only drawback is lots of stairs, but if that is not a problem, it is fantastic.

The hostel has no common area! The breakfast area is only available when staff are around, i.e. 4-8pm. Nothng else! take a call later in the nght and you have to wake up everyone else in your room! Staff needs to be more friendly. The dude at the reception told me how it was a low time and there were three people total in the hostel. This was when I was checking in and trying to hold a small talk with him. Later for whatever reason, I had to ask for a change of room. He immediately told me that the hostel was full. He refused to make eye contacts this time, what a terrible liar. But in any case, I did not have the worst situation in the room, so I smiled and remained friendly with him. I can only imagine how their behaviour would be during busy times. I mean if you did not want to give me a different room, there were better ways of communicating that. The basics of running a hostel. erm.. never going back, do not recommend.

Wonderful hostel. Humble behaviour of the owner, very clean bathrooms and rooms. Close to Beethoven house, city shopping malls, and Rhine Rover. Highly Recommended.
