This is my 2nd time visiting Elefant within 6 months from Cologne. The food are delicious as last visit and the staff are very friendly. Immediately knowing we don't speak Germany, she greet and service us in English throughout. We always loved to order one dish from German section ( Meatball) and one from seasonal special( Burger). The iced chocolate drink is a new discovery and loved it! Definitely worth repeating everytime we visit Bonn!

I have been in Germany for almost three months now visiting various cities
And this restaurant has been the best one I have eaten at during that time
The atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting
The waiters are very patient and friendly
And the salad I had was beyond great and really worth the pretty penny
Definitely a place to stop by when in Bonn

First time a few years ago the red wine was bad. Then second time there was something wrong with the vodka. Third time today, the white wine was nearly awful. We probably drank a bit more than half. It is obvious, they cannot choose decent drinkable wines. The stars are only because of the nice personnel who served us.

22€ for a smaller than my palm schnitzel and 6€ for a 330ml normal lager. Quality was good (still not something that justifies such a high price). This is a no go.

Absolutely top service from the young waitress at our table today. Comfortable and cosy atmosphere and wonderful food. And that from every one of our 6 person group!

Great place, with long history. The food was good however the service could be a bit better thats why this place did not get a 5* review. The manager was a bit rude to one of our friends.
