Recently visited this nice location. Staff is very polite and food is just too tasty. Also absolutely child friendly restaurant. Eventhough its on a main road we've found it's very quiet inside. Also you can charge your electric vehicle at their car park. Will be back for sure when visiting Bochum next time!

Then the food quality and prices; All asparagus dishes started at at least €19 and went up to €30. The asparagus cream soup ordered had no insert. She tasted of nothing. The baguette and the aioli were delicious. The main course, which by the way was the most expensive on the whole menu, was totally dry and not tasty. The crowd was ok. It was also okay that I had to go to the counter myself after 10 minutes and get the mayo I ordered again, but it was simply very bad. Ps: We paid €7 for the small bowls of herb butter, which wasn't particularly good either! In terms of prices, they are sometimes in the upper league here (at HENSSLER in Otterndorf we paid €25 for the most expensive dish), bad service, but very polite and nice because there are understaffed. Wir waren an einem Samstag (04.06.2022)dort, da wir den Palm Garten bereits mehrfach testen wollten und es an den Tag ja auch schönes Wetter gab. Das erste, was uns aufgefallen ist, ist, dass erst 20-22 Minuten nachdem wir am Tisch saßen, eine Bedienung zu uns kam obwohl der Laden leer war (Anfangs waren 5 Tische zusätzlich besetzt). Dann mussten wir bei jeder Bestellung relativ lange auf unsere Getränke und Vorspeise warten. C. A. 20 Minuten jeweils! Mittlerweile stellten wir fest, dass trotz SAMSTAG nur EINE Bedingung am arbeiten war! Mittlerweile kam auch noch ein voller 20-25 Personen Tisch dort an. Wie geschrieben - nur 1 Bedienung! Auf unser Hauptgericht mussten wir ÜBER EINE STUNDE warten. Dann die Essensqualität und Preise ; Alle Spargel Gerichte fingen bei mindestens 19 € an und gingen dann bis 30€. Die bestellte Spargelcremesuppe hatte keine Einlage. Sie schmeckte nach nichts. Das Baguette und die Aioli war lecker. Das Hauptgericht, was übrigens das teuerste auf der ganze Karte war, war total trocken und nicht lecker. Die Menge war ok. Auch, dass ich nach 10 Minuten selber zum Tresen musste und noch mal meine bestellte Mayo holen musste war ok, aber es war schlichtweg sehr schlecht. Ps: Für die kleinen Schalen Kräuterbutter, die ebenfalls nicht besonders gut war, haben wir 7€ gezahlt! Preislich spielt man hier teilweise in der oberen Liga (bei HENSSLER in Otterndorf zahlten wir 25,-€ beim teuersten Gericht), Service schlecht, da unterbesetzt aber sehr höflich und nett. Nur wegen der armen Service Kraft vergebe ich 2 Sterne. Er entschuldigte sich mehrfach dafür und ich bekam ein Getränk "auf s Haus". Insgesamter Aufenthalt : 3 Stunden
Ps: Mehrere Gäste mussten die Servicekraft heranrufen , da diese überfordert war. Es war also keine "Einzelempfindung".

Das Frühstück ist solide, aber auch nicht mehr. Weder die Zusammenstellung der Frühstücksteller noch die Anrichteweise ist besonders erwähnenswert. Ausnahme ist das Müsli mit Joghurt, das war nett fürs Auge! Aufbackbrötchen mit Petersilien-Deko bestreut, da schmeckt Nutella und sonstiger süßer Aufstrich nicht wirklich dazu. Die Preise für das Essen sind OK, Kaltgetränke für mein Empfinden zu teuer.

Ende April haben wir den kleinen Raum für unsere Hochzeitsfeier gebucht. Auf all unsere Wünsche wurde eingegangen und wir hatten einen schön gedeckten Tisch in unseren Wunschfarben! Wir sind jung und wollten keine superklassisch schicke Feier. Wir wollten es gemütlich schön und genauso war es! Das Buffet war westfälisch "rustikal" ebenso wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Auch da waren Extras möglich. Das Essen hat alle begeistert. Preis-Leistung stimmen! Das Servicepersonal war super aufmerksam, lustig und hat uns alles ermöglicht. Da im Raum kein Platz zum Tanzen war, konnten wir (keine weiteren Gäste außen) draußen unsere Musik laufen lassen, dort fand dann bei super Wetter unser Hochzeitstanz statt und auch die Reden der Trauzeugen. Für extra Licht wurde gesorgt! Mehr geht echt nicht. Vielen Dank an alle dort
