Update 03/26/2022. Moorlake Today it was just very distant friendly. Professional, but my Nigerian well educated companion and friend had felt it even more negatively. Sure, it was well attended, but the welcome was already: go straight out, you will already find the reserved table. Due to the cold, very distant, as well as irritating speech and service this time only 4 stars. My friend and i as well as not feel really welcome. Maybe it was also due to the voucher, my disability, gender, skin color of my guest? The German cuisine was, as always, very, very good, tasty and plentiful. That's why we love the restaurant very much. . Unfortunately, cold service was stuck in the memory. We are already in the 3rd generation of guests. Especially my mother was very often your guest in history. But we will definitely come back. Looking forward.

Smallest, most expensive, and least impressive schnitzel I had around Berlin.
It was small, thick and oily, and came with the smallest amount of fries ever and cost 24.50€.

Tried to pay with card and the waiter insisted for cash.

I'm pretty sure I won't go back.

This mystical and secluded locale serves as a really memorable event venue. Note however that it is not terribly accessible (at least at night) and has no cell phone reception - so arrange ahead of time your exit transportation!

Beautiful outdoor seating with the lake view. Delicious food. Strange way of service, we were standing for 5mins or more waiting for staff to approach us but no one came so we decided to sit. While seating, one staff was standing u0026 didn't make a move. Another guest waved at him for service u0026 pointed out someone else. It seems like u have to wait for the waiter assigned to ur table.

Location is fantastic, next to the Havel with ships sailing by, very quiet.
The food isn't so great, and the service works, but you only come here for the location.

The service was wonderful- the waiter was really patient and attentive even though I couldn't speak German. The food though- I ordered a fish dish, and it was so salty I could only just barely finish half before I felt unbearably sick. The apple juice was freshly squeezed though, and I ordered a delicious dessert (apple strudel) to wash down the saltiness of the fish. I sincerely hope that was a fluke. I generally put about twice as much salt on food as others, and it was far saltier than even I could stomach.
