Such a beautiful place to spend a day hiking, doing picnic and enjoying nature at its best. Plenty of peacocks walking around and if you are lucky you will see one dancing.

The Castle is not accessible due to maintainance work but rest of the island is still open and fun. You can witness peacocks roaming around in open. The island also has food and drinks available.

Really lovely place to visit in a warm day. There are several interesting buildings to see (you get a map in the ferry, and anyway the island is small). Perfect place for a picnic.

If you looking for a place away from the busy city, then peacock island is perfect. You can find a small castle with peacocks roaming around. (castle will be renovated until 2024 and is closed until then.)

Really nice little day trip from Berlin on a sunny day. Lots of good spots to take pictures or just enjoy the nature. The peacocks that roam around arent exactly tame but are nice enough to let you get close enough for a good shot.

If you have many days in Berlin or if you live in Berlin then I recommend to visit this place.
It’s lovely to walk around, have a wurst and just look at the beautiful peacocks passing by.
Take the whole day to enjoy this place.

Beware of the Bus! It takes a lot to arrive, sometimes it doesn’t arrive and you have to walk A LOT to get to the nearest bus station.
