It was a really nice hostel! A nice clean place for a good price. Comfortable and with free WiFi. The staff were friendly and it was a chilled place. A nice atmosphere!

My only issue were the amount of showers. They only have 2 showers for each gender. One of the showers was broken at the time so they were down to 1. But even if this wasn't the case, I thought more than 2 showers were needed. From time to time there would be a line for a shower. Besides that awesome!

Nice budget hostel with friendly staff.
Beds are comfy, but room is a bit crowded. Clean sanitary installations, although one of the two men's shower almkst falls of the wall. But for that price, I would probably stay there again.

Well, it's better than being homeless, I guess. *PROS* - Clean bathrooms/showers - Secure doors/bedrooms - Guests are generally quiet after 9pm *CONS* - Staff nickels and dimes you for literally everything. - We checked into our room/beds at 6pm and absolutely nothing was ready for our stay, even though we booked many days in advance. The beds had soiled linens on them, the floors were a mess, old locks were still on my locker, and the staff made it seem like an inconvenience for them to clean the damn place for us to get settled in. It took 55 MINUTES for them to finally get our beds ready, but grumbled the whole time. - Staff charges a high deposit through third party booking sevices (ex: hostel world), then claims that doesn't go to them, and re-charges you for the full amount. - The attendant at the front desk confirmed with us how many days they charged us for AFTER running my card. They charged me an extra day as a result, and refused to offer me a refund. ABSURD. - Staff is remarkably rude and does not make your stay welcome at all. I felt like I was being a burden on them just for being in the hostel for any time I wasn't sleeping. - There is no privacy in the showers. The shower doors are glass and there is no place for you to privately dry off.

Rooms are clean. Atmosphere is definitely lacking. Everyone hangs out in the kitchen which isn't my forte, I'd rather be in a lounge or at a bar. The neighborhood is cool but the immediate area is a little sketch. There is a deposit for keys which is odd as well. Not my favorite hostel.

One of the coziest hostels I have ever been!! All the rooms are very clean and spacious and the kitchen makes you feel like home.
The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Thanks to them I explored some really great spots in Berlin.
Due to its perfect location in the heart of Friedrichshain, you will also find nice bars, restaurants and clubs within walking distance.
The next time in Berlin I will definitely come back to U Inn Hostel!! :-)

This is an excellent hostel that is clean, intimate and very well priced in a good location. Customer service at the front desk was very good, I met a lot of interesting people (it is a cozy and intimate hostel), they have daily events where people meet to goto a local bar/club. Beds are comfortable, the wi-fi worked well, a good common area with a tv, there is an outdoor area to sit outside if you wish, a breakfast is for sale (2 grocery stores are nearby) with a small but clean kitchen are where you can meet and talk with others who are staying there. 2 subway stations are about a 5 minute walk away and lockers are in the room if you need one. A couple of minor negatives are there is no elevator/lift and the bathrooms/showers could get crowded. An outstanding hostel that I would stay at again if I go back to Berlin.

It a nice hostel with a helpful staff, the guy told how to go around Berlin with the train. I even forgot photos and they send it back. They have a nice kitchen and a garden where you can have gathering in the evening. They rent a bicycles also.
