Good hotel with nice staff, but would be so much better if the basics are fixed. We found the air conditioning very weak and this made it difficult to rest - all the other hotels we stayed at during this trip (including Axel Madrid) had excellent air con. The other disappointment was the wifi. It constantly disconnected and required a complex random password to reconnect (instead of room number and last name). We didn’t receive any room service on our second day. The breakfast and room itself was reasonable.

The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The only reason I have marked them down is the quality of food and the facilities were a bit poor. The room we're also very small for the price and the hotel is located quite a distance from the main areas.

It was really bad experience. No sheet/linen or even towel change for 5 days. I have told them many times to change but unfortunately they didn't change. When I asked for dental kit, slipper etc. some complimentary the front office told me to buy myself from a shop, he told that the hotel was opened new so some materials were not presence. In fact, neither hotel was good and the front office approach was helpful. I would strongly recommend anywhere to stay. I will never come again.

Very bad service. Worst breakfast ever!. Coffee from the machine you have to pay extra for it during the breakfast. reception doesn’t take the fone, the employees are to lazy for doing the job! I got an upgrade room to a wrong site of the building. There was noise and whole night you heard cars!!!! I will not book this hotel anymore!

Not close to the gay area.... 25 mins walk and room service decide when/if they want to clean. After 3pm, if your room hasn't been cleaned, they go home.

However, the rooms are great (junior suite)

Overall ok experience.

This isn’t a traditional Axel hotel and it needs to be taken into consideration.

Room was tiny.

Location isn’t the best but two U stations are up to 5 min walking.

Spa was OK.

Standard rooms are really small. Junior suite - are ok. Very neutral and a little boring designe. Great staff. Wifi ok. Near to the charming prager platz, victoria luise platz, Ubahn and free municipal parking ( good luck with catch the place!). MUCH better than stinky axel hotel in berlin.
