The waiter who served us was rude, full of attitude and fake in his mannerisms. A soulless unpleasant tourist trap for visitors who don’t know any better! A young guy in his 20s. (I was there on 24.07.22 in the evening around 19.00). When I asked to change tables as the ladies bathroom door made loud noise every time someone used it (all it needs is a little padding to fix) and we were seated next to it, the waiter was almost passive aggressive, annoyed and rolled his eyes. „Yeah, go ahead then!! Choose!“..not a hint of warmth in his eyes. He obviously didn’t care how we as clients felt and were we comfortable or not. I could sense some bubbling resentment in him. Very unpleasant!!! I felt confused and uncomfortable. He couldn’t keep an eye contact or didn’t want to. He was indifferent, cold and if I had been alone, I would have walked out. Rude service. The waiter in question moved around like a robot, banged dishes, was rushing. Very bad vibes, absolute disrespect towards paying clients. The restaurant was almost empty so I don’t see what the problem was. Perhaps the fact that I spoke English and complained about the door upset him? Perhaps he thought I am annoying tourist? Which I am not and only visited their restaurant because a good friend recommended it to me. Not sure why some people choose to be in service if they don’t like it or don’t like to deal directly with people. Shame. If I was the boss, I would fire him today! Will never go back there! Food was acceptable. Not mind-blowing though. Hence I did leave tip but for the chef, not for this cocky annoyed little piece of ****! Unfortunately, to make the visit even worse, after finishing our meals, we realized that the food was also over priced for what it was. Tiny tapas portions for €4.90! All four bowls came in different times!! Go to Neukölln and you have delicious main course for what one tapas bowl at Transit costs. The sound of the toilet door still echoes in my mind…the devil is in the detail.
