This place is among one of my favorites. Food is delicious and service is pretty fast. Staffs are friendly and kind. I have bonus points for this place as it’s close to my home. Prices are justified with the quality of food and services. Card and cash both mode of payments are accepted. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing here! We all had the vegetarian menu with different dishes and they all tasted great. Especially the curry with tofu was super rich! I will definitely visit this place again when I'm in Berlin!

I have now been twice here and I have to say my first experience was a lot better hence 4stars. The food is good, but not crazy amazing - I think it also depends on a dish. The biggest downside I would say was the service, not really attentive, we asked to pay and the waitress said she would come back but she never did, then it started raining and somebody started putting away the roof shield and we had to awkwardly hide inside. I get it might have been a mistake but still.

I do remember my last Umami visit fondly. It’s been a long time and it was in P’berg and I remember having a great time. ???? Unfortunately, this one close to Ostkreuz does not have quite as an exciting reputation. We checked it out for ourselves today and - well - it was an “OK” experience. Maybe it’s the whole pandemic theme or so but it just wasn’t that exciting of an experience as I was hoping for. The meals on the menu sound amazing but, unfortunately, don’t seem quite as exciting anymore once they are on your tongue. In the group I probably had the best pick with the “Lost at Sea” bowl of soup with some real good betel-leaves-rolled salmon. ???????? The service which to me is a big part of a restaurant experience was nice and didn’t do anything wrong really but I still was missing something… Maybe it was my mood today that made the experience average and this place usually has more to offer but they could not win our hearts tonight. ????

What a great place! It feels like you’re really in Vietnam. The food was really good and the cocktails were delicious! It’s not expensive. Tables are very close to each other so if you want to have an intimate and romantic dinner, this is not the right place :-)

AMAZING!! we took some pre-dishes to try and they were top tier (and most came with kimchi on the side) but then... we ordered the banana loaf and our lives were changed, this masterpiece of a cake tastes like a warm hug and all the toppings match it perfectly, the soft texture was a perfect ending to our day!

..we forgot to take pictures of anything but the cake:((

Delicious slow food, which looked fantastic and was made from fresh ingredients. I'm lucky that it's so close to my home ????
