One of three Soviet War Memorials in Berlin with this one having the largest numbers buried. Worth a visit if you are into WWII history.

1 of 3 Soviet war memorials in Berlin. This one is large, quiet and well kept. However, if you can only visit one, go to the massive memorial in Treptower Park.

Monumental and sobering.
Similar architecture as Treptower Park.
Worth it to visit.
I hope, we as homosapiens (wise man) do not repeat the horrible atrocities committed in wars

An excellent memorial. I visited with my daughter because we were interested in the statue and the story behind it. The layout of the memorial was very good, it impressed without being overwhelming like some of the former soviet monuments can be. We arrived in the evening while the sun was going down and it was very beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin with an eye to history. It is definitely a sleeper attraction as no one seemed to know where it was and if I had not done my homework, we would have been lost looking for Treptower park instead of the memorial. The taxi driver had not heard of it nor the people in the hotel. We went to the park and walked to the monument.
