Ich war einigermaßen überrascht, einen kleinen Birkenwald an diesem Teil des Mauerwegs vorzufinden. Die Idee des "Grünen Bandes" finde ich sehr gut. Dadurch ist ein ruhiger, landschaftlich durchaus interessanter Spazierweg entstanden, der natürlich auch von Radfahrern genutzt wird. Es gibt Erklärungstafeln, die auch das Grenzgebiet und die Mauer vor 1989 zeigen.
Für das Frühjahr habe ich mir einen weiteren Besuch vorgenommen.
