Service included a tablecloth, but no smile - unfortunately.
The waiter (who might have been the manager) acted quite weird and got passive aggressive on me when I asked what kind of food they offered (as we had not been given a menu).
Coffee and cake were good though.

Excellent food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Unfortunately they don’t accept cards.

Never really open... they either have a private session or are unexpectedly closed like today (September 5 2016). This randomness is a pain because there's nothing else around. So a dedicated spot that is so unreliable in their hospitality, is not a good spot.
Rant mode off: the times we were welcome here, we were greeted by very friendly staff and the food is good. Great fireplace in the winter!

A hidden gem. Fresh food cooked to order and to perfection. Friendly staff and a chef with heart and talent. An experience to remember.
