Wonderful atmosphere, good and comforting buffet style food, friendly staff, great prices and local colour. Recommended before or after your visit to the theatre or both or just for the good time you are sure to have.

There is something wrong, when the lukewarm "hot" chokolade costs almost the same as a big plate of food from the buffet... The food is okay considering the price, but it's way to cheep, and the food's quality is suffering from it.
When all that has been said, the place is nice and personal and right by the theater. The story about the many different kinds of beer turned out to be untrue. You will not find a beer which you can't find at any other restaurant.

Very cozy place, with wonderfull service. Perfect place to spend friday evening with friends. Great buffet and good beer. Best pub i visited in germany so far. 5 stars

Very atmospheric, old-fashioned buffet restaurant, right next to the Schillertheater. Good for drinks or food before or after a visit to the theater!
