It's not so much for seing the memorial that you go there but more for a nice walk near the river or relax on the grass.

A sign by the river. I guess it's an important historical place but honestly I wouldn't make a journey to see it unless you are either a huge fan or happen to be right there. For what it's worth you can see the place from the zoo so maybe consider combining the two.

A lovely stroll to be taken to get to this memorial, along the riverside giving a great atmosphere near the Tiergarten and also a nice walk between Zoologischer Garten towards the Siegesaul. The memorial itself is very different, but very memorable as well, the concrete letters standing out immediately next to the bridge, although there wasn't anything obvious to explain who Rosa Luxembourg was, it certainly sticks in the mind to do some research afterwards.

Rosa Luxemburg memorial in Tier Garden Park, Berlin. Rosa Luxemburg was a Marxist revolutionary, feminist and co-founder of German Communist Party along with Karl Liebknecht. This was the place where she was attacked, killed and thrown into Berlin Canal, during the uprising of workers after 1st world war. Karl Liebknecht was also killed on the same day in Berlin. There is a street in Berlin which is named after Rosa Luxuberg. Quotes from her works are engraved in its pavements One of the prominent streets in Berlin is also named after Karl Liebknecht
Also apparently every bridge in germany is a love lock bridge
they even put locks on fences around ZOB ???????? but it was a good site

5 stars because I love Rosa. Memorial needs an English plaque and better recognition. People walk past it.
