Lovely yet slightly eccentric little pub / restaurant. Excellent authentic German food at decent prices, would definitely recommend. Took one star off as they refused to serve tap water, which is typical of Berlin restaurants for some reason.

This place is as German as it can get. Very traditional look and very good German food.
The staff is also as German as you can imagine. Good mix of Deutsche Schnauze and friendliness.
Even though it looks more like a bar, the food is very good. Just be patient for the preparation, it's worth it.
Also a little more on the expensive side.

Lovely traditional place... with good foid and cheap drinks. A place to be for a real feeling of Köpenick and the Hauptmann (captain) story.
