Love the dosa with lamb or aubergine curries! Must have chutneys, especially the spicy one! I go regularly and it's amazing every time and the owner is very friendly

tldr; if you think that there are numerous places in Berlin which have fairly good 'Indian food' and are happy with the plentiful vinaigrette on the side salad, then this location is not for you and will be the new definition of 'peals before swine'.

It is simply the best 'Indian' food in Berlin (in my experience) and a bizzarly understated hidden gem. It seems more like a poorly organised späti at first glance - but do not be deceived. This is proper Southern Indian home cooking (but far far less spicy).

While travelling around the Indian subcontinent a bit, I fell in love with Southern Indian cuisine and their tradition of plentiful meat and diary free (apart from ghee) options.

The vegitable Thalai brought me back to Masala Dosa in Kerala.

The aubergine curry with rice was FANTASTIC.

Why there isnt a queue going around the block is a mystery to me - I am guessing it is something to do with the fairly unenthusiastic service.... but who cares? I'm there for the food.
