Pension Peters is not a luxury hotel but it doesn't charge luxury prices and is very clean with a good breakfast and very friendly staff.Interesting art work on the walks It is a family run hotel, now handed down from the parents to the daughters. I have used this hotel on my all too infrequent visits to Berlin since the early 90s and would always use it !

We stayed here for 2 nights and the rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were more than satisfactorily comfortable. Customer service went above and beyond to accommodate us and I would certainly stay here again in the future. I am grateful for the warm welcome we received and will always remember the patience, smiles and helpfulness.

Obliging and friendly staff, along with the personal recommendation of travel expert Rick Steves, made this indeed a good choice for an overnight stay in Berlin with a friend I traveled with during a visit. The room was very clean and tidy and felt more like visiting friends than staying in a hotel - I think that's what a GOOD Pension ought to be about. Thanks, I enjoyed my stay!

Pension Peters is brilliant! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Reasons being - the location is great, it's central with an easy walk to 2 metro stops, buses, excellent shops, restaurants and cafes. We found the staff to be very friendly and most helpful. We arrived after hours to be greeted by a welcoming and clear note as to how to access our room. Our room was in a quiet location as we had requested. It was perfect for our needs, as we wanted something with style and individuality, The breakfast room is warm and friendly with delicious choices. The neighbourhood is also stylishly casual and not too busy.

Our room was clean and the amenities were excellent. The breakfast foods were varied and delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. Charlie welcomed and advised us on our two day tour of Berlin. All of his recommendations were heeded which allowed us to have an excellent stay in Berlin. We will definitely stay at Pension Peters when we visit Berlin again.

My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with our stay. It was easily accessible from the Zoological Gardens Bus/Train Station, it was clean, modern, in a great neighborhood, with superb customer service. Uwe was extremely helpful, helping us plan our routes while we were there, recommending restaurants (The Fat Lady is great!), and warmly welcoming us. The breakfast was superb. The price was right. We will return!

This hotel has a decent location for taking public transportation around Berlin. The room was large but oddly the bathroom light would come on automatically when people walked by in the hallway. Breakfast cost extra, which was aggravating given the price paid for the room
