I’m always surprised that in Berlin Mimosas are not really a thing. ????????????u200d♂️???? I know it’s not the perfect weather for them but I am ready for spring and the sun to come back out so I made a statement ordering one (off the menu) Mimos. ????????
The guys at Papalacup didn’t know it bit did not hesitate to cater to my needs. ???? Very nice crew there! ???????? Once the drinks were settled we took a tour through the whole menu. We had pancakes, eggs florentine and a “Grünes Zickerlein” (goat cheese salad) to also satisfy our culinary needs. ???? (FYI - All main dishes cost around €10 if that’s a valuable piece of information for anyone ????)
A wonderful start to the weekend! ????????

Very cozy place.Like that it’s very spacious and never seen it too packed .Food is delicious and served nicely, coffee also has a pleasing quality.Main dishes has a price rate of 7-12,5 euros, cakes are 3,50-3,90 and are very tasty.Stuff is not always too friendly or can sit you at a table by the toilet in the whole empty cafe.Toilettes are freezing cold but have a baby changing table.Only cash policy.

Food and drinks were nice and the place has a good atmosphere (despite some plastic plants and grandma furniture). We did not have a reservation so we were offered a low table with a couch for our breakfast, even though there were 3 free tables outside and more free tables inside. These reserved tables were still free when we left. That was not very nice to see and while we understand that a reserved table is a reserved table, it would not have been hard to find a better solution that would make us feel more welcomed. Also, this place is cash only (which in Berlin is still a thing). All in all, this place got good bones, but lacking some soul.

A beautiful cafe with friendly staff. They make great coffees and have wonderful food. The venue is very comfortable with good seating indoors and outdoors. Strongly recommended.

No card payment. The kitchen closes at 3 pm or so. But the worst is the stuff, really, really rude and unfriendly.

This is such a lovely cafe to sit in, and it’s very dog friendly.
The prices may be a hair higher than some of the other cafes in the area, but the cake is excellent, and there’s a lot of choice for food and drinks.
I ate the carrot cake, and look forward to doing so again.
