Overbooked and understaffed.
Waited one hour and forty five minutes for the first dish. The rest arrived staggered after that. Some dishes were cold. We had to eat in turns. This was on a Monday and even so. Our waiter seemed on the brink of collapse and took it out on us. Very rude. Also the food seemed overpriced even if it had arrived at the right temperature.
Avoid if at all possible.

Went on Friday night and had excellent service and some of the best Italian food I've had in Berlin. We had the rabbit and the octopus, and topped everything with the homemade pistacchio-ice. It was not on the regular menu, but a suggestion from the waiter.
The garden is super nice.
The place wasn't super full so we didn't experience the issues some of the recent reviewers have been complaining about. It would be a pity to see this restaurant go down because of being understaffed, we had a great evening here and will gladly come back!

We visited here just over a week ago, having booked a table for 6pm. Unfortunately the restaurant was understaffed for the number of bookings that they had accepted and our meals were not delivered to our table until after 7.30pm, a wait of over one and a half hours. My pizza was absolutely delicious, but the other meals were not so great. My sister-in-law had waited over 90 minutes for a place of pasta with clams and it was a very small offering, approximately 6 tablespoons. The carbonara tasted 'off' and we should have complained, but didn't want to cause further issues for the already stressed staff who were trying to cope with the large number of visitors. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and I witnessed them dealing with a small child who was very upset as their parents seemed to be ignoring her. The staff in question went off and got some colouring pencils and a book to keep the child occupied. Also, the outside garden area where we were seated was very pleasant. So, I had mixed opinions. I think the place has potential to be a good place to eat, depending on staffing.

Like others who have reviewed this place recently; the service is simply too slow. We waited hours and had a small baby with us who was becoming very agitated. We went out to eat in order to not have the stress of cooking at home and unfortunately it had the opposite effect. The food is nice and so are the waiters but there is clearly a problem with staff shortages.

Went with 2 on a sundayevening and outside it was really not busy. Still it took a long while for the waiter/owner to take our order. He seemed friendly but never came to us to check about the food or anything. Again had to white a while for the food to ge there. The food wasnt bad, both had a pizza and were please with it.
When going inside and indicating that Id pay with card the owner really wanted to mKe clear that the tip is in cash. I decided to not give a tip since the service wasnt good.
The owner again said 'I said the tip is in cash' I still did not proceed to give a tip. When walking away the man started shouting i Italian and clapping cynically because we didnt leave a tip.

Would not recommend at all.

The hopes were high for this restaurant, unfortunately expectations fell short. There is a lovely garden and I recommend reservations if you care to sit outside.

Service was quite slow. We ordered a pizza and two pasta dishes, Pappardelle with pork, and seafood spaghetti. Both pasta dishes were rather bland and the pork was extremely overcooked. For the price the food was very disappointing.

The innercourt is beautiful, but that's about it.
Staff is not really organized, therefore you wait a lot. And the food is flat and expensive... Much better options in the area!
