An excellent coffeeshop in a prime location with a cool aesthetic. The inside looks cosy with classic photography but the best spot is the outside terrace. It's facing south and you can sit and observe the liveliness of Mehringdamm and Bergmannstraße.

Coffee is excellent, made with beans from an Italian roaster (Pascucci's). I can also recommend the cakes and the sandwiches.

The bar keeper told me he had spent two summers traveling through Italy with a scooter to find the best coffee beans for his cafe to be. Even if this was just a story its a good one. And so is the coffee.

Hands down the best coffee for 2nd wave drinkers. That means, if you like Italian coffee better than the one served by Australian hipsters, this is your place. No matter whether you like espresso, cappuccino, or Latte (forte). For flat white lovers I recommend a Cappuccino Scuro.
The quality of the coffee it almost fully consistent whenever you show up. And the owner, whom you'll usually meet during the week, is a fun and funny guy with a love for good soul, RnB, Jazz and AOR music.
Good reading material: check.
Sunlight right onto the outside tables and into the windows.

Small, cute and nice place. You could both sit in or outside... Their coffee is delicious!

Nice people, generally good quality, would be a regular if the prices were friendlier...
