It is a old hotel but everything was working and clean. It is a little loud because of the train station nearby but it was not bothering me in my sleep. Reception was friendly. The only weird thing was that the bottle of water in the room was not free but 4€. Make it free or remove it completely. There is Aral station with cooled and much cheaper drinks opened 24/7 just around the corner.

Location s ok. Rooms carpet was not clean and I heard other people complain about theirs too. Interior design quite old but functioning. Stuff is helpful. Overall not great, but not terrible either

Very cold service. Location is both convenient and terrible because it's next to the railway and the S bahn. Not worth the 4 stars in our opinion, especially if you consider the state of the rooms and the age of the hotel and lack of renovation. The walls are very thin and thus we could hear our neighbour cough all night long (!). We don't recommend staying here for too long.

The rooms are relatively spacious, some of the materials in the room for example in the sink feel/look old, the receptionist, a woman, was quite friendly, parking can be a bit of a problem. Possible to buy some drinks at the reception.

It's located near Westkreuz S-Bahn Station. That means you can access the city center in nearly 20 minutes. It's located in a quiet and beautiful street which makes it a good choice in a crowded city like Berlin.
The room was just lovely. Old furnitures give you the feeling of living in old days (not that old, of course).

Air conditioner, balcony, TV and a small fridge, bathtub and a comfy bed.

10/10 for a budget vacation!

An old fashioned hotel with cute outdated rooms. Outdated to the point where the bathrooms are becoming gross.

Other problems with this place is poor service and it being located across the street from the railway lines. 24 hours a day you can hear the trains go buy.

Upon check in, the man at the counter started insisting that I shouldn’t wear my mask. It’s fine with me if he doesn’t want to wear one but I have a right to wear mine. The poor service doesn’t end there. It is like they care more about money than happy customers.

The staff was amazing and super helpful. The rooms were large and had a view of the metro-station (the sounds were not a problem because of the double glass) which was quite cool. I would definitely recommend going here, especially with a tighter budget. (we only payed 280 euros for a 2 people stay of 4 nights). The only complaint I have was the bathroom, it was almost impossible to shower without drenching the whole bathroom. It was luckily cleaned everyday, but quite annoying the first day when we had to live in a puddle of water.
The hotel itself was beautiful, I especially enjoyed the walk up to the hotel, the front garden (which is also to see on the picture) was a nice place to sit and decide on plans for the day and smoke a cigarette. The building was very well maintained and I couldn't see a single crack. The staff also were following all the Covid guidelines which was very nice.
