Very great well preserved XIXth century house. Two floors can be visited with a lot of information about the city and the historical context, you're totally free to wander in the house the way you want. The last part dedicated to Schinkel and the Humboldt brothers has a very complete set of info. This place needs to be more famous and more visited, admission and audioguides are free, the team is super nice ; it deserves your donation to help renovate!

Very beautiful, amazingly well preserved. You can play on the piano but use the more stable chair. They are raising funds to restore more furniture, please donate!

Beautiful house, located in old Nikolai Quarter. This is a former residence of the Knoblauch family. I enjoyed to visit this museum several months ago. It was interesting to see 200 years old furnitures and items. There was a homely atmosphere. Entry to this museum is free. Staff is very friendly. Recommend to visit this place.

Great surprise in Nikolaiviertel. I really enjoyed this museum, very well maintained and with friendly staff. It is always interesting to see the lifestyle of people before us. I recommend it.

Beautiful house in the centre of Berlin. It's a 18th century house (the Biedermeier period) belonging to the Knoblauch family. It's a family house and as you enter you feel at home, you feel welcome. I should recommend this museum. Johann Knoblauch was a wire-drawer, middle-class.

I loved this museum. It brings to life how a family lived, worked and what were the daily struggles. Fantastic pieces of home décor from 1835-40.
Staff in this museum is very kind, attentive and friendly.
