This is a solid place. The bed is reasonably comfortable and the breakfast buffet is good. It has a very corporate atmosphere though and seems to be a hostel school kids use for trips. The rooms were clean though and you didn’t have to put your own sheets on which was nice. The staff helpful and most importantly for you… IT WAS CHEAP. I can’t complain too much

The cons are in stayed in the cheapest dorm room and their aren’t lockers. The circulation isn’t good so I woke up in the morning from the humidity of having 5 people breathing all night and the room was hot. They don’t have air con or anything but that’s most of Germany I believe.

The one thing is this place has potential, there’s a bar downstairs that was never open and it has pool tables/good lounging areas but it’s just always seemingly packed. And the air circulation in rooms is not good

For how cheap it is though it has a good rating at 4 star. It’s not the best hostel but not the worst and the staff are friendly. Just keep track of your items and enjoy your cheap stay!

In nice location just across the East train station. We take 2 star away because our hotel room was very small for 4 people, only one person at a time can walk trough the bottom of the queen bed. We had one queen bed and one bunk bed. The bathroom was small with a small sink the. There were a Jacket rack/cabinet was very small. Over all for a 4 people in that room everything is small, it was more of a single room not a family room. Breakfast was ok but it was the same food for 7 days they could have switch it up a bit. Also parking is way overpriced you can park outside the hotel way cheaper like we did. Also before I forget the 7 days we staid at the hotel you can hear the door banging and when someone running upstairs. Keep that in mind it’s not going to be a quiet night. Things we also did not like is how the smokers the people that smoking, smoking right in front of the hotel entrance.

One of the best hostels I've been to. We got switched to a triple dorm even though there were only two of us. The beds were comfortable. This hostel is very well run. Good location as well near the trains station.

- location is very good - close to station
- breakfast is very basic, no options and always the same
- they dont have daily cleaning. I stayed 10 days and my room is very dirty, they just take out the trash. don't even change the towel
- i booked a individual room: there is a bunk bed inside the room which makes no sense. the curtain is not good which generates a lot of light in morning
- hostel always full of children and teenagers, which makes shared environments very difficult
- good alternative for those who want the experience of a hostel, not a hotel as was my case
- safe place, I always left documents and money in the room.
- the air conditioning does not work well

The hotel is easy to find and the service at the reception was friendly and quick. Room was clean and espacially the bathroom was a positive surprise. Staying in a shared room the double bed caught me off guard, to share a bed with a stranger is not what i would do more than one night.
Easy check-out.

Great location even though the area is pretty rough (like most of Berlin). Close to public transportation, city centre and the very nice east side gallery (definitely worth a visit!). We booked (and definitely payed) for a 3-bed room with hotel standard, it was minimal! They had only prepared the room for two people and we had to ask for more towels, hangers and soap. We never got it. They had a very weirded cleaning system that we learned about at check out after not having our room cleaned during the entire stay (3 nights) despite asking for it twice. Apparently the cleaning lady comes to your room between 8-9 AM, then you have to open the door for her, ask her to clean and stay while she does it. This because of previous events when things got lost and the guests blamed it on the maid. Breakfast was small but tasty, the kitchen nice but not very well equipped. No luggage room.

Super friendly and helpful staff, average breakfast, very clean throughout, the matresess and pillows were super comfortable. Towels and Bed lined super good quality. A bit noisy as is beside the train station but overall good.
