I enjoyed a very flavorful spinach soup accompanied by a dense slice of bread.
Maybe I misunderstood the opening times and I could not eat inside, while outside it was a bit cold and windy. Nevertheless the staff was friendly and gave me some insider tips about places to visit in the area.

Chai latte was a little strange, seemed more like a golden milk.
Latte was light, had to ask for another esspresso to add.
Beautiful deco / beautiful light to read.
From my spot I could recognize that next table lunch was good. Will keep researching.

Lovely atmosphere, busy during business lunch times. The place offers a selection of modern (vegetarian) and classic German dishes on a daily menu basis. Also, great coffee and tea.

We got there in the late afternoon, the menu was in German but the waiter was really friendly and translated everything. He said when the sandwiches run out, they run out but he offered to make us some small cheese and tomato ones to go out our soup which was potato and Brussels sprouts, amazing. The coffee was also fantastic.

We arrived in the late morning, the place hardly had any people sitting in there. The service was really slow, however. They also had their own variation of a Flat White, which is fine, but didn't tell me before hand, after which he offered to make the one that's more commonly served in Berlin. However, the waiter forgot about this and had me waiting another 10 minutes before approaching me after several tries of making eye contact with him. The new coffee was also not that great. As a few other guests came in, it was clear that they weren't particularly happy either with the service either, judging by the amount of orders being returned. When we wanted to leave and pay, we had to wait about 10 minutes before he attended us (at the till) so we could pay. Summarized:
- Terrible service
- Bad coffee
+ Cake was nice
