Fantastic doctors, and lots of on-site services from ECGs and ergometers to gastrointestinal specialists. Couldn't be happier at this Praxis.

The receptionist was super slow, When i told them that I have appointment, she was pretending to find my appointment but i could literally see that she‘s doing some other work and made me wait for 15mins. She can‘t speak English and not helpful at all. She didn‘t give me clear answer when i asked how long I should wait. So I made an appointment at 12:00 but had to wait for more than 45mins. I just canceled and walked out. I will never return.

Great doctors. Thorough and patient. I always felt like they take the time to hear and explain symptoms and procedures. I’ve been a patient for the past 4 years and felt taken care of. My main GP was Dr. Vehmeyer and she is great. Very caring, good sense of humor and really leveled with me every time. I always left the office understanding whatever my condition was and what could be done about it. Dr. Black is also amazing, for the same reasons. Very clear communicator and very kind.
The reception staff is also quite friendly and kind enough to speak English every time.
The praxis itself is well run. Good equipment and facilities. Nice decorations. Perfect location for me.
Appointments can be made relatively fast and, of course, there’s also time in the mornings for acute patients.

The so-called "doctor" Luisa von Schwerin was completely inexperienced and had a terrible prejudice towards my medical situation. She fully admitted that she had no knowledge of my condition(Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome) but told me that my current medications were not a good idea. How would she know that if she hadn't ever dealt with this condition before???

I have seen miss von Schwerin once before, in an emergency when my hausarzt was closed. She and a colleague conferred and ultimately prescribed me the medicines I needed in order to make it until my hausarzt had returned from holiday. On that visit she was reluctant to help at all but I thought it was simply because I was new to her as a patient. However, on this last visit, made by appointment and with the intent of becoming a full-time patient, she was curt, cold and very dismissive from the beginning. I, again, needed a small amount of medicines to be refilled and to this she flat-out refused, after verbally acknowledging that stopping these medicines abruptly was very dangerous to my health. So, why would she not do something to make sure I had the medication I needed so that I would not have any major complications with withdrawal or be hospitalized for the 15th time in the last 12 months??

After this most recent visit the "doctor" called me to inform me that she and her colleagues, whom also have no experience with CVS, "would never provide the medications" that I have been taking for years. These are medications that I have relied on and actually do work in the treatment and control of my symptoms. My mother has worked in medicine for almost four decades and i have seen enough to make me sick of pills, side-effects, complications and abuse to make sick to my stomach. I am educated, and familiar with the medical industry, but I am NOT a "drug-seeker". Unfortunately, that is exactly how I was treated and then I was dismissed.

Overall, I am SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED and angered by this experience. I would NOT recommend Kantpraxis to ANYONE needing serious medical advice or treatment. I would especially avoid the so-called Dr. von Schwerin because of her terrible attitude and serious lack of experience.

The only helpful thing she did was to provide a referral to another, more specialized, clinic. But even that small consolation was tainted by the fact that she noted on the referral that I was drug-abuser; She's NOT my doctor, she has NO knowledge of my medical condition and she has only met me twice for a total of 15 or 20 minutes yet she feels she has the authority to say whether or not I abuse drugs. TOTAL QUACK!

I can't speak for her colleagues but anyone in need of help should look for a REAL doctor somewhere else!

I did a health check up with Dr. Johns and was very pleased. I felt very comfortable discussing everything with her in English and I am glad to have found a friendly doctor in Berlin who I can trust. The offices are clean and modern and the staff are competent and well organised.

I am very pleased with my experience at Kantpraxis . Dr.Thuma took a very good care of my condition. he made me feel that i was in safe hands . He answered my questions per email even during the weekend. I am very grateful and highly recommend Kantpraxis and Dr. Thuma.
