We had a really nice time and really good food. The flamekuchen and wine worked well together.
The place is close to be fine-dining but not quite?
I am not sure how they can justify such high prices on some of the dishes.
The area is okay, the food is good, but that's about it. Probably 2-3x pricier than other restaurants in the area, that are as good or even better.

Nice food. However, they need to add some non-alcoholic drinks.

I used to come here for their breakfast and the place was usually super busy in the morning. But the place recently changed their menu to downsize on the breakfast options, which also impacted the number of guests - my friend and I were almost the only ones in the whole restaurant for two hours. I could hardly decide which breakfast selection to order, but not because they all sounded good - rather it was the opposite as nothing was really appealing to me. But I must say their pear tart is still to die for (a slightly tad too sweet) and the Kaiserschmarren is tasty and comes in a huge portion, which is enough for three. For breakfast this place is not an option for me anymore, unless they will change back to their old menu or to a better one.

I went there for his "famous" brunch. The place is very nice, maybe too full of items and people to enjoy a brunch on Sunday morning. Wide choice of varied snacks in the buffet, from croissants to gnocchi with cheeses but mediocre quality, given the rather high price (but some drinks are icluse). Overrated.

Went to Jules Verne for a Brunch on Sunday. Fantastic! Friendly staff, super selection of warm and cold food. The buffet was constantly replenished and looked really appetizing. The food was very tasty! All in all a great culinary experience.

Ordered an aperol spritz that was bitter due to the orange rind they added. I had to speak to two staff about it. The last told me, "well we sell 100 per day as it is." So my own taste is insufficient? Next, "what should we do with this drink?" I don't care. I offered to pay for it, nonetheless. But, do I look like I need "free" drinks?!
Terrible service and attitude. AND there is not 1 authentic French dish on the menu! This is a German cuisine restaurant!
