This place is my neighborhood and only discovered it at the recommendation of a friend. We were served by the owner who recommended the fish for two and it was great!

We will come back again.

The owner made us an excellent plate of Schnitzel, baked potatoes and asperagus with a strawberry sauce, really amazing all the way through.

On top of that a super friendly guy, well recommended!

Such a nice restaurant. The decoration is amazing, the food is delicious and the waitress was really kind.

It's a bit out of the way but worth the detour, Comfy, full of old signs and memorabilia, and absolutely great food. I was there on Friday and the piano man played some amazing music on the old piano. Insider tip!

A friend took me here, I'd never have found it otherwise, saying: you have to read all the signs, taste the food, and hear the piano music. So I did: great! Definitely an insider tip.

Absolutely excellent. It is not often that you are greeted by the owner and chef at the front door. Not that I expect they do this for every dinner ????. The interior is eclectic. Not in that same way some chains try to fake it. Genuine bits and bobs that you could tell we're bought with thought by the owners. For instance they were able to tell me where the 'Bonnie Prince Charlie' that adorns the bar came from. I in turn educated them on the cultural and historical significance of the individual. They were very gracious☺. Onto the food and drink. The bar was well stocked, and had a good selection of spirits u0026 beers. For a small restaurant in E. Berlin the selection of Whisky was impressive. Again lesson on regions u0026 tasting notes was carefully noted and taken down (well they did ask! ????) there was a good selection of German and European dishes. All with a slight twist. I would have to admit when the food arrived in what seemed like a very short period of time I was sceptical. But, after the first mouthful my fears vanished. It was lovely. Unfortunately God granted me the memory of a Swiss cheese, so I cannot tell you what we had, and I am no (professional) critic. I had a sour, beef thing, my Wife had a rib dish of some sort, and my pre-teen Son had one of Schitsells (pardon my spelling). All three dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. More over they were actually a proper plate full. We got chatting about Whisky (as mentioned earlier) so we did not manage dessert. So I cannot comment. So, if you are looking for good food in a nice friendly restaurant run by, passionate about what they do people, get your arse out of the city centre and head to this place.

Was rudely mistreated when I tried to ask someone from the staff for a table.
