The place is to be avoided. Not because the food or drinks are so bad, but because the owner Jean Claud believes it is something special and charges accordingly. A 0.4 liter beer costs Euro 4,50! This in Berlin, where a large beer 0.5 liter goes for normally Euro. 3-3,50. On top of that, we (along with every other guest) were made to pay for each round individually as if we were at a beer garden. He did this in the hope of getting a tip each time. How cheap!

And worse of all, the owner oozed of slimy creepiness, pushing right up to the "acceptable" come ons behavior with every woman guest. It left a very uncomfortable feeling with ALL of us.

So. Very pedestrian fare. Mediocre menu. Less than great location. Very expensive prices. Slimy service.

The frenchman who runs the bar is a nice chap who likes to have a chat with his clients.Decent place with french draft beer and a cherry beer from Belgium.Highly recommended!

I get there just for a coffee and finaly stay more than an hour, speaking with the funny owner/bartender ! Cosy bar ! I'll go back for sure !

Wenn man genau auf die Fenster schaut, erkennt man sogar die französische Flagge.
Wir können hier unsere Brettspiele jederzeit spielen und werden dabei nicht komisch angeguckt.

Wir finden die Karte mit der Auswahl vollkommen ausreichend. Mal endlich kein Massen-Cocktail-schlecht gemixt-Angebot à la Friedrichshain. Die Preise sind dazu im Verhältnis mehr als freundlich zum Geldbeutel, da trinkt man mal ein Gläschen mehr.
Im Sommer gibt es ja auch ein paar extra Getränke.
