In such a great neighborhood, IBZ is a great place to live in Berlin. They provide equipped apartments that are perfect for families. I would like to thank everyone at the IBZ office for being so supportive and kind to me. Being there was a great experience for me.

This is a great place to stay for a few months or couple of years if you are an academic guest with or without family at one of the Berlin universities or institutes. The quarter is beautiful and the flats are very adequate and furnished. You will also make good friends in the courtyard our daughter has spend the whole summer outside getting dirty and playing with other kids.

It's the perfect option for staying in Berlin during a short-term or a long-term research visit, for couples, families or if you go alone. Everything is well equipped and prepared in advance, so you really do not have to worry about Wifi or furniture. The building has common places such as a library, a gym, a billiard and a garden that make the place more special.

Also there are scientific and cultural events, and there is an excellent environment with all the guests of the other apartments.

The staff from IBZ (Florian, Modi, Gajana) is also incredible and is always available to help with everything.

The location is also an advantage. The neighborhood is very quiet and it has very good transport connections, in 20/25 minutes you can be at Potsdamer Platz by U-Bahn. It's a 10 minutes walk to Schlosstrasse.

We had an excellent experience and we hope to return to IBZ when we come back again to Berlin.

An accommodation centre for foreign academics at both Freie Universität and Humboldt Universität in Berlin. There is a central office that organizes events for the tenants and who helps tenants to settle in. There is also a Kindergarten. Shopping and the closest U-Bahn is available just around the corner at the Rüdesheimer Platz (photo).

A wonderful community of fellow visiting scholars and their families, we felt instantly at home during our sabbatical year. Responsive, friendly and professional staff. Excellent value for money.
