The location's great, the staff are friendly, and it's not without a sort of threadbare old-world charm. But this place really could do with smartening up just a bit. There's a limit to how budget a budget hotel should be. The bathroom for instance left a lot to be desired, with its incredibly noisy electric flush and temperamental shower where you had to hold the shower head. The mattresses are saggy and, I suspect, have seen better days. Worst of all though are the electrics (see photo). I'm no expert but they strike me as a hazard - loose sockets, plugs coming apart, exposed leads. The bedside lamps simply didn't work, which was perhaps a blessing in disguise. Sadly, not recommended.

The hotel is located on the second floor. It looks like if someone adopted an old luxurious flat into a hotel. However, even tho it looks weird, it's very nice and convenient. Hygiene is very good. Rooms are spacious, with small table and chairs, a couple of mirrors (great for ladies :) ). Bathroom is clean, equipped with spacious shower and a hair dryer.
Breakfast is very good, offering breads, cheese, ham, jams, cream, juices, vegetables, tea and coffee. Definitely delicious and enough in quantity.
Also, location is excellent. Bus line 109 goes directly to airport, and nearby S and U bahn stations make connections to the city centre.
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

Just a name sake hotel. Its a WG and a big one. Shittyly maintained, but made to look good. For example there is a beautiful desk in our room and when I opened the drawers they have big big holes in them. The bed looks so beautiful but probabably sleeping on floor is comfortable than sleeping on that bed. The room stinks of old wood rotting. Toilet is ok.
Breakfast is nothing special. Just basic things milk, bread, cheese, jam, butter, salami ....
Oh ya its better to say there is no WiFi .

Really bad wifi, not good enough for voice calls let alone video. If you rely on good wifi for work, you better have a good data plan to fall back on. Disconnects very frequently, and even when it is connected it's only 1-2mbps. With state-of-the-art Ubiquiti routers only costing ~$100USD these days, it's not a lot to ask of a hostel to have good Wifi. Other than that, the rooms are nice, and the bed is soft, the decor is kind of Victorian.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful old building with very pretty decoration within the rooms, tall ceilings, comfortable beds, but small and moist bathrooms. Good, varied breakfast, good coffee, very cosy breakfast room.

Arrived very late at night and had some trouble checking in. Reception came out especially for us(at a price).
Placed in apartment 1 and found accommodation unsuitable. The floors squeaked, the doors squeaked and the bed practically sung.
After an uncomfortable night we checked out, staff were kind enough to waive the cancellation fee but claimed to be unaware of the noisy apartment.

Had some problem with wi fi, but overall was a nice experience. Room was clean, the little kitchen furnished of all you may need. Bathroom was clean also. The breakfast was boring, but ok for the price.
