This is a very nice though somewhat basic little hotel nestled within an apartment complex on a busy street. The room was very clean with windows opening onto the quiet courtyard in back, the breakfast was basic but nevertheless quite good. The manager was great -- friendly, funny and very willing to help (he even found me a fan since the room had no a/c). The price is reasonable and I'd stay here again!

Located between the central city and airport with direct transit access to both, this is a great budget hotel. Located in an older building along a busy avenue, the rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Our room faced an inner courtyard which was relatively quiet. Breakfast was a typical German breakfast and quite hearty. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Due to airline issues (no shortage of those these days), we needed to extend our stay a day with both a late check-in and early check-out, all of which he was very accommodating of, and he was very appreciative of our business.

It's about midway between the two nearest U-Bahn stations, so it's about a 5-10 minute walk, and it is a walk-up (no elevator/lift), but both are manageable unless you have a lot of luggage.

The hotel is quite cheap, and you essentially get what you pay for. Rooms are simple and - a big minus - ours smelled a lot like a smoking lounge. Besides, it is situated in a busy main street without any real atmosphere. However, staff were extremely friendly and, together with the very reasonable price, you might consider it for one or two nights.

The hotel is good however not very friendly to disable people or families with kids. There is no elevator to the hotel. Nothing can be left in the downstairs inside the building. We were staying there with our 6 month old baby. There was no place to put the kinder wagen. We had to carry it all the way to the hotel using stairs. Staff was very good and they offered the help also in lifting kinder wagen. We stayed there in summer. There was no fan or air-conditioning but fan is available upon request. There are a lot of good restaurants and super markets available nearby. Other than a friendly staff, there was nothing which can be appreciated.

Spent 4 nights at hotel. Room was simple but were very clean. The high sealing is a welcome feature since the room was not very big. Free Wifi worked great!

The hotel is located close to the Hermannsplatz from where you can catch public transportation (buses and subway) very easily. Great access to all major attractions from here within a few subway or bus stations!

Biggest asset of the hotel was the amazing team/management. We received a very warm welcome and were immediately offered help to get our luggage to 2nd floor room. Throughout the stay we interacted with 3 or 4 different team members manning the front desk and EVERYONE of them went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provide excellent service!

If you have breakfast at the hotel, make sure to ask for the homemade jam. AMAZING!

We will definitely be back!

what a horrible hotel. the people working there have no consideration for their guests.. and they are very over-priced! definitely do NOT recommend!
