Pleasant neighborhood place and no tourists (besides my table), with authentic German food. Fair price and waiter spoke good English, while being timely and attentive, very pleasant service. I had a very perfect tender pork knuckle (cured in-house), with mashed potato and sauerkraut, and a 0.5L of their own unique lager. Others at my table enjoyed the pork medallion and rouladen as well. One of us had ice cream with berry sauce and was nice, another had strudel which was good but said it was slightly bland. I finished with a czech raspberry brandy. Will need to go back here if I'm back in Berlin!

The best service, amazing food, great environment I cannot recommend this place enough if you go to Berlin it’s a must stop. Made us feel very welcome and really showed the hospitality and heart of Berlin!!!!

Wonderful meal in a cool and relaxed setting. The father and son in duo were lovely and the son took the time to sit down and run me through the menu of traditional German food. I opted for the veal's liver which was delicious. Followed up by apple strudel. Definitely worth going out of your way for this one.

Totally recommend this place!!! The beer is amazing, the dishes are suuuuper tasty. This meat was so tender that I don't even need to use knife. If you are interested it was deer.

And the place itself small and cozy. It's very felt like it's German place

By the way a bit costy, but I assure you, you will not regret

In short: without a doubt, visit this place. Found this place through a short google search and after reading some of the rave reviews, I had to check it out. I was not disappointed one bit.

Before I speak about the incredible food, I want to acknowledge the service. Really awesome ambiance as well - away from the busy streets and I’m a space that allows you to connect.

The food was so rich and full of flavor. I’m already recommending it to my friends even before finishing the meal!

We arrived at this restaurant on our first day in Berlin. A young man welcomed us and asked if we had a booking, we didn't, but he found us some room. The man's father lighted and recommended us some beers. You should really try the house beer, it has a sweet touch that everyone will like.

Our German is poor, but the son speaks it really well and described some of their most demanded dishes.

The food was delivered quick and it really was amazying, you definitely should come by, even if it's not near the town center. Desserts were really good as well and the waiter invited us for a shot after we finished eating.

We will definitely come back.
