I came to see Dorian Electra here and it was lit as hell. One of the best concerts I've been to, not only because of the artist but because of the venue as well! Drinks were easily available at the bar and the toilets were clean. Very nice!

A live gig at Gretchen, my first time there. Nice little venue. Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Civilised punters. Non-smoking (for the most part). But the sound... Total amateur hour at best. Despite the fact that I was wearing a pair of ER20s and standing right in front of the booth, I was struggling to hear the vocals, and the lower end was so muddy I couldn't tell the difference between the kick drum and the bass guitar. Exceptionally shoddy sound engineering compared to similar size venues around Berlin. No more live gigs at Gretchen for me, am afraid. Can't say I wasn't warned, though.

My friend and I (both from uk) had the best night here, the bouncers were super friendly and helpful, no questions asked about getting in and you can wear pretty much what you want. The bar staff were also really nice and helpful, people in there were generally nice people too. Strongly recommend for a good drum and bass night, strong sound system as well. Unlike all the pretentiousness you find at techno clubs in berlin

very bad set up for concerts. the sound was very undefined and quiet. The room is not good for big crowds, if you are in the middle of the room you already can't almost see the stage. disappointing !

Concert was great, prices of drinks reasonable

I think it's amazing that they require a test on top of the booster jab, but, in my entire journey of booking the tickets on Eventim, reading the tickets and instructions, it didn't mention this. Try and get a test after 8 in the evening in the Bergmannkiez. We had to take a taxi to another side of the city in order to still get a test... Not great, maybe inform your guests next time. An email or information with the ticket would have been good.

I bought a ticket for 19,90€. The event got cancelled. They refunded me 18€. I don't care much who is responsible but this is absolutely outrageous.
