Signed up for the birth preparation classes, paid the fee for the partner however baby came earlier than the classes, emailed the instructors about the refund and didnt hear anything back. The registration form indicated there will be a refund if there is another couple replacing and there was another couple who went in but still got no refund or a response. Atleast could have responded ?

Once you have transferred them the money, they will stop replying the emails.
Further more if you cannot attend the course if your child is born early, even when they found the replacement to take the course, they NEVER returned the money.
Worst of all has no courtesy to reply to an email.
Highly not recommended!!

Unser Kind ist jetzt schon einige Monate alt und immer noch bin ich ganz gerührt von der Betreuung Im GH Charlottenburg.
Schon während der Schwangerschaft wurde ich von den Hebammen zu den Vorsorgen betreut. Jede einzelne war lieb und sehr achtsam. Die Atmosphäre ist wundervoll. Meinen Freunden habe ich immer gesagt "es ist wie im Vabali" (:
Dass dann auch alles geklappt hat und unser Baby dort auf die Welt kommen durfte, war ein Geschenk. Diese Herausforderung hätte ich woanders nicht so meistern können. da bin ich mir sicher.

She also involved my husband very well and the all-round domestic atmosphere was just great.
The birth was over surprisingly quickly after only one hour and afterwards we were allowed to cuddle a lot for a few hours.
I would choose the GH Charlottenburg again at any time and can only recommend it to everyone.
Of course it is not easy to get a place. But this is the only way the birth center can guarantee 1 to 1 care during the birth :)
We also did the weekend childbirth preparation course and thought it was great too.

Ich habe Anfang Juli meinen Sohn im Geburtshaus Charlottenburg entbunden.
Ich habe mich während der Schwangerschaft sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und die Geburt war ebenfalls sehr schön.
Die diensthabende Hebamme Christine ist während meiner Wehen zuerst zu uns nach Hause gekommen und dann sind wir auch relativ schnell ins Geburtshaus übergegangen. Es war meine erste Geburt und Ich hätte sie mir nicht anders wünschen können. Christine hat mir durchgehend das Gefühl gegeben, dass sie mich begleitet und hat mir sehr gute Tipps gegeben was ich während der Wehen für Positionen ausführen kann. Meinen Mann hat die außerdem sehr gut mit eingebunden und die rundum häusliche Atmosphäre war einfach toll.
Die Geburt war überraschend schnell nach nur einer Stunde vorüber und im Anschluss durften wir noch einige Stunden zu 3 ganz viel kuscheln.
Ich würde mich jederzeit wieder für das GH Charlottenburg entscheiden und kann es jedem nur empfehlen.
Selbstverständlich ist es nicht ganz leicht einen Platz zu bekommen. Aber nur so kann das Geburtshaus eben auch die 1 zu 1 Betreuung während der Geburt gewährleisten :)
Wir haben außerdem den Wochenend Geburtsvorbereitungskurs gemacht und fanden diesen ebenfalls toll.

As my contractions got stronger and stronger in the middle of the night, one of the midwives even came to our house at 4am to accompany me through the contractions and to check on me - I mean if that isn't 1 to 1 care par excellence then I don't know either. I would always want to give birth there!

Wenn ich ans GH Charlottenburg denke gerate ich schnell ins schwärmen. Ich durfte dort den schönsten Tag meines Lebens verbringen und hätte mich nicht besser vorbereitet und gut aufgehoben fühlen können. Ich bin froh mich gleich bei meiner ersten Geburt für das GH entschieden zu haben - entgegen der Meinung vieler. Ich habe die Beteuerung sehr geliebt und die allgemein entspannte Atmosphäre hat sich auf mich übertragen. Trotz Corona war der Online Geburtsvorbereitungskurs ein lockerer und informativer Kurs der uns viel Spaß bereitet hat. Ich habe eine wunderschöne Geburt dort erlebt und kann es nur jeder Gebärenden ans Herz legen sich dort in die Hände der ausschließlich netten Hebammen zu begeben. Als die Wehen bei mir mitten in der Nacht immer stärker wurden, kam eine der Hebammen sogar um 4 Uhr morgens zu uns nach Hause, um mich bei den Wehen zu begleiten und nach mir zu sehen - I mean wenn das keine 1zu1 Betreuung par exellence ist dann weiß ich auch nicht. Ich würde immer wieder dort gebären wollen!

Vielen Dank an das ganze Team , dass ihr heute bei der äußerst schwierigen Geburt unseres Sohnes an und über eure Grenzen gegangen seid. Ohne euch hätten wir ein ganz anderes Ende der Geburt und somit nicht dieses Grandiose Gefühl gehabt.
