An institution on its small corner of Berlin. Food is German local and massive portions. The salad and Berliner meatballs were more than enough for 2 people and if not enough extras can be ordered ala carte. The salad with nuts is nuts! I loved it. It’s home cooking style so do not expect a Michelin experience. Food is tasty and very meaty. Overall enjoyed it and a nice local experience. A few visitors but mostly locals. Drinks and beer only on the outdoor tables or the indoor pub like bar is ok too.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Absolutely delicious Christmas menu. Had the goose and it was divine. Friendly staff, cosy setting, pet friendly. Would definitely return.

4.5 stars. I rarely give 5. The menu is not extensive, but the quality is great. I had the Bratwurst with roast potatoes and sauerkraut. Perfection. Service extremely friendly. You'll definitely need reservations for high traffic times.

the dishes are not specified if it is spicy or not. I don't like spicy dishes and I ended up with a spicy German specialty (meat ball). Then the server asks me "Everything is fine" I say "no" and he leaves without listening to my answer. Good beer.

The food was good, beer selection is decent for a place like this but the service was barely existent. After hours of trying to catch one ofnthe waiters passing through the back area I just went up to the bar with my empty glass.
Same play with the bill, just get up and walk to the register.

We asked the beer and before order the food the kitchen closed. Nobody came to warn us, didn’t let us know before they close. This was so disrespectful to us, such a bad customer experience. They know we were tourists that were in a restaurant with local food, why don’t let us know? And at the same time, the google page was saying that they closed at 1am.

Terrible. I was expecting so much more..
