WW2 flak tower used to shield civilians from air raids (could hold upto 15K people) its semi destroyed now, a great historical site to marvel at what a surreal set of events the war was. Do hike up to the top, it's fascinating.

Nice place, not sure what exactly this place was or is but it is located in a beautiful park on top of a hill, it is wonderful hick up there by foot or even by bike, it is not as steep as it might seem from bottom. on top astonishing view opens to you from the several terrasse's there are. sadly it was pretty dirty on the day I visited must had been big party the previous night. still recommend this place.

If you want to have a beautiful and free look over Berlin you should see this tower. Just one tip walk your way up along the footpath, don't take the stairs.

Cool Second World War flak tower in the middle of Volkspark Humboldthain. Great for WWII buffs to see a real German defensive installation and also great for a stunning view over Berlin. Quite a chill place to relax and maybe have a drink, bit of a trek up but the stairs/paths are very well kept and it’s worth it at the end for the view. About a 10 min walk from here to the S Bahn stop Humboldthain…

This tower was an incredible stop on my trip in Berlin. The walk to the tower was amazing and peaceful. Would not say it was a difficult hike to the tower but it was easy walk in the park either. The look from the top of the tower was amazing. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

What are you looking for? If you love history u0026 enjoy a high-intensity climb (about 10 minutes) to see the relics of a WW2 anti-aircraft tower then this is your bliss. If you are making the climb to see picturesque vantage points of Berlin from above then you will most likely be disappointed as the skyline here offers very little beauty. There is also a gorgeous hidden rose garden before you hit the steps to the tower.
