Some of the staff are cool, but I am extremely disappointed with this gym.
Being security, working shifts and having to deal with a stressful job, I was looking for a chill place to train and relax. So, me and my girlfriend tried this extremely expensive gym...
The first times I tried it, everything seemed okay. So we decided to sign a contract with them and become members.
However, as soon as I signed the contract, they started harassing me by making up rules, where I would end up doing their work as a cleaning lady (actually losing more time cleaning up than working out), and even had to wear non-essential attire, which was not required for the activities, and even end up carrying more equipment to care for their gym than to care for myself. A huge hurdle, all-in-all
I have looked into many other gyms and could not find any such rules in place...
My girlfriend, who is also a member there, tried calling to solve the issue to no avail and we tried quitting. Now they are telling me that we cannot cancel the contracts. This pretty much sums up what they are about: minimum service, maximum profits, bad solutions...
I understand everyone has their own house rules (however made up they may be), but if I was not complying to the rules, they should have informed me about them, there and then, from the very start or at least on a timely manner, like during the actual testing period (Probestunde) or before I signed the contract. Not afterwards, when it was implicit that everything I was doing was in order.
Not to mention, the day I signed the contract, I specifically asked for us not to be harassed about anything and they said everything was okay. This is where they informed me about the house rules, but none of the made up ones come up at the time...
Unfortunately, since no fair solution was found, I am forced to let this negative review here.
