Very delicious and cozy Spanish restaurant in the heart of the hipster part of Friedrichshain.

Food is very good (like the one that you would eat at the best tapas bar in Spain) and service is fast and friendly. Prices are very fair too.

I can only recommend this nice place!

Very reasonable prices and we had a good wine for about 15 a bottle. So we liked the place after all. What we didn’t like is that most tapas are cold and probably coming out of a jar or tin. Still it is a good place to have a bite!

As a solo traveller it can be difficult to find good places to eat . El Atelier ticks every box. Will be back !

We went yesterday to El Atelier, this is the 5th Spanish restaurant we visited so far and we were really impressed. The experience couldn't go better!! We hace arroz de boletus y secreto ibérico, but before that we had tapas, chorizo with cider and alioli, both of them were delicious!! The rice portion was more than enough and super delicious. The staff really kind and fast! Good beer, tinto de verano and sangría. The neighborhood it's really nice also for a walk after the rice. I only can recommend you this place a 200%. Go, don't miss it !!

This place is nice. Not loud at all, small restaurant and only a few tables. The staff is friendly and they have good food, but it's a pitty that there are only cold spanish dishes, like gazpacho, ensaladilla, manchego cheese or jamón iberico . I think they had a problem with cooker hoods and license, and they are not allow to cook in the kitchen, because they used to serve warm food. Anyways, its worth to visit!

We had a very nice evening there. Good and fresh products. Lots of handwork. Good wines. Good prices. Good service. And they are original. Made by a very, very young team.
My favorits are the pulpo and the patatas brava (order extra sauce! ;-) ) And the Iberico bacon plate - i just love it ! But they are very new, we should give them a chance. Sometimes they need more time as usual , but the service tells you. More "speed" in the kitchen and the same quality and they get 6 stars from us! But note, it's small, 15-20 sqm and roundabout 20 seats. Then it's pretty narrow ;-) It's a good idea to reserve at least two days before.

I liked the place because it really reminded me of Spain: the colors, the music, the friendly servers - tbey really managed to keep the place cozy u0026 Mediterranean in the heart of the mixed Friedrichshain... We basically came for the paella, which was totally delicious u0026 prepared according to Spanish taste u0026 standards !! ;-) just like the light sangria u0026 the tapas. Conclusion: we'll gladly return !
