One of my local stars. That's what good quality kitchen is about: simple but super tasty, fresh ingredients and a small but very diversified menu.
We had meatballs mit mashed potatoes and Salat (13€), Salat with salmon, chilli con Carne and pasta with black olive pesto (8,50€). For drinks minz peppermint tea.
The restaurant room is nicely decorated and the service is outstanding.
During lunch times the place is pretty frequented. So be there before 12 am ????.

The place is just hidden in a smaller street behind Chausseestraße and Torstr.
But it's definitely worth it going there!

This little cafe/restaurant is laid back with friendly service and a touch of Berlin je ne sais quoi. The portions were generous, the food prepared and presented nicely and great-tasting. The midday crowd was mixed, with older locals and little groups huddled over talking shop. The place is small and some tables were reserved but we found a window seat with bar stools. Visit for lunch or just a coffee, which is decent.

Our favorite lunch spot in the neighborhood. Super nice people and a mellow atmosphere. A small but delicious selection of daily specials and everyday favorites are on the menu and offer something for everyone.

Came here for lunch with my family after a long, cold sightseeing walk. It was the best lunch we could have asked for! Large hearty portions, tasty salads and home baked bread. You can tell its a secret of the locals as we were the only ones not speaking German - thankfully the waitress was able to translate for us the specials of the day.
Highly recommended!

I've only eaten here once, and it was a tasty meal. But what gives this place 5 stars is the owner whose positivity is infectious. Insider tip: the restaurant also has a deli/takeout area where you can order a fresh loaf of bread: dark or light rye. Just give them a day's notice and they'll have it set aside for you. You won't regret it.

Very cheerful personal and tasty food. Each day they have something new in menu. Unfortunately they work only on lunch time and close early, about 14:00
