Great tasting food at great prices set in such an authentic Asian, Vietnamese setting.
Great place to enjoy delicious food and watch the busy market around you.
Only negative is not accepting card payments so ensure you bring cash with you. Cash machines are not working inside the market.

The food quality has not been the best recntly. Which is sad because this used to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Also make sure you pay attention when you pay. I recently went there and almost lose money because the waitress gave me the wrong change. Luckily I just withdraw money and remember exactly the money I have.

The food does not taste bad, it just does not have much to do with authentic Vietnamese cuisine. In the past they at least served a plate with herbs together with their Pho, but even this is now gone, while prices went up. Summer rolls also are mainly filled with lettuce, no herbs, the soy sauce that comes with it tastes like the cheapest brand you could find in any supermarket. The menu is massive and probably meets German expectations, if you want your sweet and sour grilled duck you'll find it here. For people who never went to Vietnam or are happy with very Germanized "Asian food" (after all, Germans say they went to "an Asian restaurant", whatever that means) you'll probably be happy, if you expect anything remotely resembling Vietnamese cuisine, I suggest to avoid this place. I didn't try the other restaurants in Dong Xuan, but from what I saw their are not any better, so now apparently mostly serving tourists or people who don't mind.

Everything you’d hope and expect from a decent Vietnamese restaurant. Pho was excellent, nem were great, bun cha was solid. Couldn’t finish the whole bowl of pho. Next time will split with a friend. I can’t comment on the authenticity, but I will say it’s by far the best bowl of pho I’ve had in Berlin. Well worth the trip to the Dong Xuan center just for this.

Pretty good ! The chicken pho with skin was very delicious, tho it wasn’t stand out. Sadly do recommend to NOT order the Watercress as it tastes like burnt garlic.
