We had the most wonderful meal at Donath last night, on our final night in Berlin, before returning to Ireland. One of our group of 8 had been there four years' ago and having never forgotten the meal she had had, brought us all there. Well!! We were not disappointed!! This restaurant is truly authentic, and offers amazing Italian food. Absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our holiday. Decor is simple and unassuming, emphasising that this is an establishment that takes pride in its food. Albert took a chance on us, and suggested no menus but just to bring out a range of anti pasta followed by platters of different pasta dishes. He offered some wines to match and all I can say, Albert, is that it was one of the best meals I have ever had. We felt very welcome, as tourists. The price was really reasonable. Donath is one of those treasures that you will return to years later.. And we will be back!

Truly unmatched hospitality, atmosphere, and quality of food. Albert and his team made us feel entertained, they served individual portions, paid attention, and took time for heartwarming chats. Now it's about time to push this place's Google rating to u003e4 stars.

Truly authentic. Owner "Albert" is very entertaining and knows his food. Best Italian food experience I have ever had. Highly recommend - just relax and enjoy the fabulous food and ambience.

a little too pricey for what it offers. you can definetly find better italian around, with a higher value for money... the soup was really good though

Beautiful Italian tratoria in a hot spot of Berlin though a bit off the main paths of the tourists, which has a positive effect: Good Italian food comes together with affordable prices. Try the delicious and interesting selection of different Italian wines by the glass, selected and imported mainly by the owner himself
