Promises much, delivers considerably less. Look if this was situated somewhere in the outer suburbs, then maybe 3 stars would be more accurate. But, it's in the centre of a vibrant city and should be compared to its competitors. The menu reads well (if you ignore the ridiculous and quite quirky choice of Australian place names and terms AND the overall cultural appropriation of indigenous Australian beliefs)...I digress; the menu looks good but when the food is delivered it's quite hit and miss.

The curry wurst and chips were cold, whilst we were given replacement chips, it's just not something that should arise in restaurant in a capital city. The kangaroo burger was perfectly cooked, the beef burger not. Prices reflect the city centre rental not the quality nor quantity of the food.

Whilst the waiting staff we're very welcoming and hard working, the management needs to review the product as a whole.

I would suggest exploring the other side of the road for a meal.

It's a kind of place I'd choose for a quick bite when I'm hungry and all choices around ne are touristy places anyway. Except that wait can be quite long around lunch time. Coffee and dessert options are good though and staff is doing their best.

Nice place. They have variety of food drinks and ice cream as well.
It would say it's expensive so not very student friendly ????

Cocktails and beer were average- however for a busy and vibrant place such as the Sony centre you would expect better service. Waiters were blunt and appeared agitated when asked the most simple questions. Unwelcoming experience

The service is a disaster, the waiter very rude. We have ordered a hamburger, clarifying that it does not contain yogurth sauce. But it came completely full of ketchup, something that was not clarified anywhere and that we were not informed before ordering. Plus they bring ketchup to the table. Kindly, we asked the waiter if he could change it for us. To which his reaction was very rude, going to other tables, talking to himself, trying to justify himself, trying to find in the menu where it said so, opening the hamburger with his own hands... a shame. then they brought us another, and we heard the waiter talking in German with his partner complaining about us. From there, he ignored us until we left. the food good

Me and a friend were serviced by a really rude waiter. It took ages before our order was taken. When the waiter did come, he took my friends order but never bothered to ask what I wanted to order. Before I could speak he was already gone????

Situated under the central some of the Sony center, the Corroboree beckons with cold beer and classic BBQ dishes. Stopping in for a late Donner around 8PM on a tuesday, the place was packed but there were a few tables available for dining in.

Skimming the menu I found the prices on the high side but within expectations for the location. Ordering the burger I was informed that the kitchen was busy and it will take half an hoje for the food to arrive so I ordered a couple of drinks and took in the atmosphere.

The food arrived quicker than expected but I did not feel that the dish justified the price. The meat was undercooked and underseasoned but ok. For a small beer, a soft drink and a burger with fries I paid 26€. It's a lovely place to visit for the atmosphere and the vibrant City life but you can skip the food.
