Definitely do not recommend this tour company as a way to see Berlin. We bought a 3-day ticket and used it only 2 times. If you want to get a good overview of the city overall and do not plan on hopping off as the bus goes around all the stops, it’s ok. You learn a little bit about the city through the audio. We found that some of the stops were excessively long. We would have preferred to see more in less time. But the real disappointment is the inability to even figure out where the stops are. They are not marked on the street at all. So if you get off at one stop and want to hop back on at another stop, good luck finding where to hop back on. One time, we even waved at the driver, hoping he would clue us in but he just drove away. So we still had no idea where we could catch the next one to come along. We ended up just walking at that point back to our hotel. This is the poorest Hop On/Hop Off experience this world traveler has ever had.

Great value for money!
We got 48-hour tickets, did the full tour on day 1, then made stops on day 2. A comprehensive map shows you where to pick up the bus. The route is 2½ hours and stops at all the major city sights. Complimentary earphones allow you to use the informative audio guide as you travel. Helpful point of sales at the Park Inn Hotel. Highly recommended.

Solid bus tour of Berlin, seemed to cover all the major sights and the rep on the street gave us a discount. The guide is automated via earphones, which was fine but at times was a bit confusing as to what it was referring to. Overall no complaints.

Enjoyable way to get a brief overview of the city sights the first day after arrival. Wish there was even more commentary but understand the limitation. Purchase the three day ticket and used the bus to visit the actual sites the 2nd and 3rd days. Easy to catch the bus and move around the city. Please note the time of the last complete circuit of the city. If your specific bus arrives at the beginning of the circuit after that time, the bus stops and will not start a new circuit. You may end up taking a taxi back to your hotel.

The commentary was poor. We couldn't find the children's channel, which was the main reason we booked it.
In the end its better to get a normal day pass for public transport to see the city.

Arrived this morning at Berlin HbF from warnemunde with a pre booked hop off hop on ticket with City Circle. There was a guide from the company who probably was interested more with issuing new tickets rather than checking my prebooked ticket. He virtually stranded my family with my 5 year old. Even though the pdf ticket was issued by City Circle Hop off Hop on, it was not clear enough ( not the passengers fault). Other hop off hop on bus intervened and told the guide that he had an obligation to honor the paid ticket at which point he agreed to allow me on the bus and would check my ticket after he takes care of 'other' passengers. Grateful to be on the bus but realized that buying a ticket online could leave you stranded even with little kids. Once he scanned the pdf, all was fine and tickets were issued. Not a good experience to start the day, Thank you City Circle,

We waited for an hour, the bus was due to stop at 16:14 and 16:36, we were waiting from 16:00 until finally the bus came at 16:58. This tour was not great, it did not give us a lot of information. Pick a different company!!!
