I arrived around ten and no one was there and reception after checking several times through the day I finally checked in around 1630. I stayed 2 days and no one was ever at reception. The apartment has a living room, bedroom and bathroom. It was clean but the walls were really thin and the neighboring apartment kept me up by playing the TV loud till at least 3 am both nights. Location is good the mall of Berlin is across the street and the Brandenburg gate is about a 10 minute walk. I have added a pick below of the entrance because it is not easy to find.
I am not that picky but I would not stay here again.

Obwohl die Rezeption nur bis 18:00 Uhr besetzt ist war es kein Problem später anzureisen. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat mich sehr freundlich empfangen und ich hatte insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt in Berlin.

The lady from Hotel.de said I should wait on the phone because she is now calling City Apartments in Berlin herself. I was on hold for about 10 minutes and nothing happened and hung up. Then suddenly a call from Hotel.de and this same lady told me I should call Hotel.de again in 1 hour, because she cannot reach anyone. Well, I actually went to Berlin with my partner to see the city and not to wait or call anyone from the hotel.
Unfortunately we had to look for other accommodation, which of course was almost impossible because the cup final was in football.
We found a place to stay fairly late, but the price was enormous.

So never again with City Apartments and Hotel.de !!!

Zum Apartment kann ich nichts schreiben, weil wir nicht mal soweit gekommen sind! Aber die Lage war gut, dafür den 1 Stern.
Ich buchte bereits im Dezember 2016 für den 27.05./28.05.2017 ein Apartment über Hotel.de in Berlin. Die Rezeptionszeiten sind von 08.00- 18.00 Uhr. Am Samstag, 27.05.2017 sind meine Lebensgefährtin und ich um ca. 13.15 Uhr am dieser besagten Adresse angekommen. Ich klingelte aber es tut sich nichts. Das ging so bis ca. 14.00 Uhr. Ich rief bei der Nummer die bei der Buchung dabei stand an, aber diese Nummer war nicht vergeben. Wir gingen zur nahegelegene Mall, und fragten auch andere Menschen die rumschwirrten ob dies auch wirklich die Nummer 68 war, ja das war sie. Um 14.20 Uhr rief ich bei Hotel.de an und wollte wissen was Sache ist. Die Dame von Hotel.de sagte ich solle am Telefon warten, weil sie nun bei City Apartments in Berlin selber anruft. Ich war ca. 10 Minuten in der Warteschleife und nichts hat sich getan und legte auf. Dann plötzlich ein Anruf von Hotel.de und diese gleiche Dame sagte mir ich soll doch bitte in 1 Stunde nochmal bei Hotel.de anrufen, weil sie auch niemanden erreicht. Nun, ich bin eigentlich mit meiner Lebensgefährtin nach Berlin gefahren um mir die Stadt anzusehen und nicht auf irgendjemand vom Hotel zu warten oder anzurufen.
Leider mussten wir uns eine andere Unterkunft suchen, das natürlich fast unmöglich war, weil das Pokalfinale im Fussball war.
Ziemlich spät hatten wir eine Bleibe gefunden, aber der Preis war enorm.

Also bei City Apartments und Hotel.de nie mehr!!!
