Horrible reception last Friday afternoon
We checked in last Friday afternoon. The reception is very unfriendly. This girl wasn't used to guests. Very hostile attitude. The toilet door could not be locked. One of the windows in the room was broken (couldn't close). There are not enough showers. It has no decoration or ambiance and is basically equipped with minimal lights and a lack of furniture. Please do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. We for sure will come back to Berlin and stay in another hostel.

We rented a three room flat, but on arrival they didn't have a three room flat. Not only was it not available - it didn't exist! We were travelling two couples with each a kid. Sleeping all in the six bed room would not work. We had to leave and find another place to stay - and 450€ lost. Horrible place!

If I could give negative I would.
I booked a room with two seperate beds, but recieved one double bed.
I booked at Potzdamer Platz, they gave me a place on the outside of Berlin.
I tried to cancel my booking, but when I requested to cancel, they immediately deducted the money from my account and said I cant cancel.
When I arrived at the place that I was going to stay, the reception did not speak a word of English (they advertise that they speak English) and demanded another €20. I wanted to know what it was for, he said (through Google Translate) that he will find out for us, but then 10 minutes later the money was just deducted from my account and he simply brought us a reciept.

The room does not even have a mirror. I mean come on...

Horrible place, would never reccomend. Save yourself the trouble.

Very clean and well run. Extremely conveniently placed for Brandenberg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie and Alexanderplatz. Huge supermarket next door. Room compact but if you are just looking for a crash pad this is ideal. There is also a washing machine.

AVOID THESE THIEVES AT ALL COSTS

If i could give it negative stars i would. I booked online as "pay on arrival" however 3 days before the trip they decided to withdraw the amount for the full stay from my bank, then again the next day and the day after that which totally emptied my bank account, my attempts to get this remedied have so far been met with resistance.

Stay away from this cowboy shack and if you literally have no other option please dont give them your card details as they will likely rob you blind just as they did me

PS i tried to challenge this as fraud or theft but was told it is neither, as i had booked a room with them it was simply a "dispute" no matter how much they continue to draw from my account, all i could do is contact them and hope they put it right (which they dont seem keen to do) as long as they dont point blank refuse to refund i am merely "awaiting a response" and was told very clearly by actionfraud that there is no time limit on when they have to respond, they are free to take months or even years to do so as long as they do not explicitly refuse a refund, in this state the customer has no rights at all

Very small. Kitchen doesn't have a stove. No mirror in the room. Staff is not friendly. No housekeeping during stay (clean towels, making the bed etc.)

Stay away!!

They overbooked, didn't have a room although reserved and credited my account anyway. Huge trouble, very unfriendly!!
